As you know by now, my name is David Hübler. I am a designer. I use the term broadly as I've worked on everything from industrial design to web design and mixed-use buildings to parks. I'm driven by innovation and progress. I find beauty in simplicity. I admire the ability to provide simplistic and functional environments that encompass the complexity of human emotion and social behavior. There is something so spectacular about an environment that can evoke emotion and illicit the need to leave with something to remember your experience. I believe that great design does not have to be complex, but instead that it effectively captures the complexity of human nature and presents it in a way that is both understandable and usable for the masses. Great design solves problems without creating new ones. Great design should be influenced by the way we move and breathe, taking cues from the perfectly designed world around us. Great design embodies social and cultural behavior, it plays to the emotion, it captivates the senses and it lives with purpose. It is in my nature to solve problems in ways that others have not thought of and to quickly turn my back on the norm if it leads to increasing efficiency. Please feel free to look through the portfolio and read through the blog to learn more about me.
