So, this evening I received payment for a website I am currently building. My payment came in the form of a 32gb iPad. Brand new. From the store. So I have decided to update my nearly forgotten blog with a little review of this amazing device.

While I thoroughly enjoy teaching myself new things, it never comes without frustration. Case in point… Final Cut Express. I guess one could say that I am slightly green when it comes to the world of video editing. Although my final outputs are pretty decent by most standards, the road to getting there is nothing short of tiring. The Case Study: An acclaimed pizza and bar from Downtown San Diego was looking to open a second location in North County. The subject parcel, a 9000 square foot lot with over half of that required for parking and easements. The challenge was to provide a building with adequate access from the busy adjacent street and reducing the overall cost of the project by retaining as much of the existing infrastructure as possible.
The design process is one of the most beautiful aspects of any project (at least in my opinion). It allows a virtually endless creative process to yield finished results that can easily redefine a company, a brand or an entire industry. However, that creative process can quickly be dismantled and all parties involved can easily become discouraged if the proper steps aren’t taken in the very beginning. The following are the first things you should do either as soon as you hire a designer, or before you decide on one. The latter will obviously end up saving you some cash if you’ve got limited funds.
